The next generation of google nexus tablet is codenamed as Volantis, according to @evleaks, google is currently testing a new tablet that is being made with HTC, and that Tablet has surprising specification.
@evleaks said that, the testing unit of Volantis from HTC, has a Snapdragon 810 CPU and 5GB of RAM, but the source said that when the tablet launch to the market, it will be launched with NVIDIA Tegra K1 64bit CPU. Moreover, Volantis also come with 8.9 inches 2560 x 1600 resolution display, and 8 MP rear camera, BoomSound, and aluminium all-in-one design. We are expecting this would be the top specs in the later of this year. Especially, we would like to see how the aluminium design provide a unique appearance of the device.
At the same time, @evleaks also leaks a picture of Volantis, on this picture, it slightly shows "Android Silver OS Alpha 1.4" on the tablet. According to the previous news, Android Silver is not an operating system, but it is something like the "Nexus" brand (a hardware platform). However, this leaks from @evleaks may imply that Android Silver is not just a story about hardware platform.
